Impact crushers are a type of machine commonly used in quarrying and mining to crush rock and other materials by using impact force rather than compression (like in jaw or cone crushers). There are 2 types of impact crushers - Horizontal Shaft Impact (HSI) and Vertical Shaft Impact (VSI).
